Electric actuators and pneumatic devices have their own characteristics. Let's start with pneumatic devices.
Pneumatic devices have three distinct advantages:
1. The load is large, and the pneumatic device can adapt to some high torque outputs. Although this is the case, now the electric actuator can also withstand greater loads and can catch up with the pneumatic load, so this is only for your reference. After all, this is different.
2. Compared to other equipment, pneumatic equipment has lower requirements for the working environment, and can be used in some flammable and explosive situations, even in many harsh environments such as dust, strong magnetism, vibration, and radiation, etc.
3. The pneumatic device acts quickly and reacts quickly.
The advantages of electric actuators are mainly reflected in the following points:
1. Electric actuators are relatively small compared to other devices due to their simple structure, simple components, compact structure, small size, and easy assembly.
2。 From the requirements of the drive source, the advantages over pneumatic equipment are very obvious. Due to the simple driving source, our automotive power supply can be used as a driving source for general electric actuators, but it requires air and compressed drive pneumatic devices to provide the driving source, which is obvious.
3. The electric actuator does not require an external pressure to maintain the load, and the pneumatic device requires a constant water pressure to maintain the load. For this reason, the electric actuator does not have additional pressure equipment, so it is quiet during operation. However, due to the external pressure, the air supply device will be more obvious. In order to achieve a larger load, we also need to add an additional muffler.
